Are you an experienced Enterprise Account Executive, ideally with a background in Cyber Security? Ready to join a high-growth, industry-shaping security vendor?
Due to increased demand for our industry-leading Command Platform and MDR services, we are looking to hire an Enterprise Account Executive in Delhi-NCR. In this role, you will make a significant contribution to the growth and success of the business in your assigned region or vertical by aggressively developing new business through new and existing accounts and managing profitable business relationships to assist in the achievement of the sales plan. This position is supported by our team of Sales Engineers and will have access to Product Specialists, Channel Managers, and Customer Success teams.
About the Team
This role sits within our India Sales team, with a primary focus on North and East India. Our wider India Sales organisation acts as a strategic partner for customers across Government, PSU, BFSI, Enterprise, and Telecom sectors, helping them achieve a more secure digital future. By leveraging the full value of Rapid7’s product portfolio—including Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), and our advanced SOC and vulnerability management solutions—our Sales teams create region-specific, relevant solutions to address customers’ unique challenges and strengthen their cybersecurity posture.
About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage assigned verticals and key accounts across the Public and Private sectors in North & East India, driving net new sales and upsell opportunities.
Specifically, your focus will be to:
Drive Enterprise & Public-Sector Growth: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across Government, PSU, BFSI, Enterprise and Telecom sectors to convert prospects into revenue.
Position Rapid7’s Portfolio: Articulate the value of Rapid7’s CTEM, CNAPP, Managed Security Services, SOC and Vulnerability Management solutions to craft India-specific cybersecurity strategies for both Enterprises and Public Sector.
Deliver Consistent Results: Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas through disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
Accelerate Business Outcomes: Negotiate and close high-value contracts, drive upsell opportunities, and ensure successful solution adoption across Enterprise and Government accounts.
Leverage Ecosystem & Visibility: Collaborate with channel/MSSP partners and represent Rapid7 at strategic industry, enterprise and government forums to expand market footprint.
Excel in RFP Management: Lead and respond to complex Government, PSU and Enterprise RFPs/RFIs, partnering with internal and global teams to deliver timely, competitive proposals.
The skills and qualities you’ll bring include:
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a New Business Sales role within Cybersecurity or SaaS/Cloud solutions in the Indian market.
Identify and engage key stakeholders across Indian large enterprises, Government, and PSU sectors. Profile target accounts and convert prospects into long-term, revenue-generating customers.
Articulate the value of Rapid7’s portfolio—including Managed Security Services (MSS), Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), and cloud security offerings—in the context of India’s evolving regulatory and threat landscape.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas through strategic account planning and solution selling.
Stay agile and decisive amid shifting market dynamics—embracing uncertainty as an opportunity to innovate, adapt strategies, and keep customers ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline using Salesforce.com and Clari; provide accurate weekly forecasts and actionable insights to leadership.
Drive the full sales cycle, including RFP/RFI management, vendor registration, and navigating complex Government and Enterprise procurement processes aligned with Indian public sector norms.
Lead contract negotiations, up-sell and cross-sell Rapid7 solutions, build executive rapport, and ensure successful adoption and value realization for customers.
Work closely with India’s channel ecosystem—national distributors, regional system integrators, and MSSPs—to expand reach and accelerate growth across assigned territories.
Showcase Rapid7’s thought leadership at Indian cybersecurity conferences, CISO forums, and industry events to strengthen brand presence and create new business opportunities.
Collaborate seamlessly with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams, turning shared goals into measurable outcomes. Foster trust, share knowledge, and leverage collective strengths to accelerate customer success and drive Rapid7’s growth.
