As a 100 percent channel-led organization, the Rapid7 Channel team is dedicated to enabling partner success, expanding joint pipeline, and strengthening field alignment. This specialized team collaborates closely with strategic partners like GuidePoint Security to drive mutual, high-impact growth across North America.

About the Role

As a Channel Account Manager, GuidePoint Security, your primary responsibility will be to own regional strategy and drive disciplined field alignment between GuidePoint and Rapid7 sales teams. Specifically, your focus will be to:

  • Develop and execute regional GuidePoint engagement plans that align with national channel strategies.

  • Establish structured account alignment between partner account executives and internal sales teams.

  • Partner with regional sales leadership to drive mutual accountability and target progression.

  • Lead collaborative account planning sessions to validate pipeline viability and target alignment.

  • Enforce a structured follow-through cadence to ensure stalled deals are active or replaced.

  • Generate visibility for regional business progress by tracking target lists and key pipeline metrics.

  • Support regional Quarterly Business Reviews and deliver performance metrics to leadership.

  • Travel consistently across the designated territory to maintain direct relationships in the field.

The skills and qualities you’ll bring include:

  • Possess 3 to 4 plus years of strategic channel or partner-facing leadership experience, ideally within cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.

  • Break larger strategic goals into clear, time-bound regional milestones to execute quickly and drive joint pipeline growth.

  • Drive personal and partner accountability for meeting sales commitments and qualifying target opportunities.

  • Build a strong network across boundaries, collaborating closely with regional sales teams and external stakeholders.

  • Navigate changing field dynamics with agility, maintaining a proactive focus on long-term outcomes.

  • Demonstrate strong business acumen to accurately analyze opportunity viability and align targets with our Ideal Customer Profile.

  • Communicate clearly to convey partnership objectives, align sales teams, and build credibility with leadership.
