Rapid7 is hiring a Channel Account Manager to drive regional execution across SLED and FED partners in North America. In this high-impact position, the operator will translate public sector partner strategy into focused, account-level execution across regional territories. By aligning partner sales teams, managing target account mapping, and establishing mutual accountability, this leader will convert high-potential channel relationships into repeatable and measurable public sector pipeline growth.
About the Team
As a 100 percent channel-led organization, our Channel team is dedicated to enabling partner success, expanding joint pipeline, and strengthening field alignment. This specialized team collaborates closely with strategic partners and public sector sales teams to drive mutual, secure growth across national SLED and federal accounts.
About the Role
As a Channel Account Manager - Public Sector, your primary responsibility will be to own regional strategy and drive disciplined field alignment with SLED and FED partners. Specifically, your focus will be to:
Develop and execute regional public sector partner engagement plans aligned with national goals.
Establish structured account alignment between public sector partner AEs and internal field sales teams.
Lead account identification and co-selling sessions to validate public sector opportunity viability.
Partner with regional public sector sales leadership to drive mutual accountability and target progression.
Enforce a structured follow-through cadence to ensure stalled public sector deals are active or replaced.
Track target lists and public sector pipeline metrics to generate visibility for regional progress.
Support regional Quarterly Business Reviews and deliver key performance metrics to leadership.
Travel consistently across the designated territory to maintain strong relationship touchpoints.
The skills and qualities you’ll bring include:
Possess 3 to 4 plus years of strategic channel sales, partner-facing leadership, or public sector sales experience.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of SLED and Federal partner ecosystems and cyber security market dynamics.
Break larger strategic goals into clear, time-bound regional milestones to execute quickly and drive joint pipeline growth.
Drive personal and partner accountability for meeting sales commitments and qualifying target opportunities.
Build a strong network across boundaries, collaborating closely with regional public sector sales teams and partner stakeholders.
Navigate changing public sector field dynamics with agility, maintaining a proactive focus on long-term outcomes.
Communicate clearly to convey partnership objectives, align public sector sales teams, and build credibility with leadership.

The salary range for this role in the US is:
$136,400.00 - 184,600.00 USD AnnualSalary ranges may vary based on geographical location. This range does not include variable/incentive compensation, equity and benefits (where applicable/eligible).
