Director, Sponsorships Marketing and Analytics
We are seeking a savvy Director, Sponsorships Marketing & Analytics with deep experience in brand-side sports marketing. This role will work cross functionally with stakeholders across a complex global organization. You will use assets through sponsorship partners to create an array of marketing programs from content and interactive showcases, experiences with community partners, customer hospitality and Talent Acquisition.

Our brand team directly impacts and elevates the Rapid7 brand and drives business growth working closely across all areas of the business including; Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Channel Partner teams, Talent Acquisition, Community Relations and Employee Engagement.
About the Role
We need someone who can be accountable for building sponsorship strategies and has expertise in structuring sponsorship deals, conducting valuation analyses and negotiating contracts. You will have end to end responsibility over the management and activation of high-profile sponsorship partners with the opportunity to grow this portfolio over time. You will be accountable for optimizing all the assets within your partnerships and will develop activation plans using these assets. In addition, you will track and measure program performance, build and execute “once in a lifetime” experiences and create content that will help drive adoption of Rapid7 solutions with your partners.
In this role, you will:
Lead key partnerships with customers in sports and entertainment including day to day relationship management, technology adoption, marketing activation, approvals for use of marks and customer event execution
Set plans, goals and metrics, and establish measurement and reporting practices that demonstrate value to drive the business.
Participate in overall annual marketing strategy and planning to ensure sponsorship assets are a key component of annual integrated marketing campaigns and advertising strategy.
Manage internal and external agency partners to execute activities and events.
Work across business units and functions to build and sell-in program opportunities
Develop benchmarks, measurement and analytics framework to track ROI; manage analytics agency as needed.
Measure and track partnership and program specific performance and conduct ROI/ROO analysis for quarterly business reviews to executive management.
Elevate and coordinate thought leadership programs and content aligned with brand positioning and consumer-driven insights; drive Rapid7's global brand reputation and awareness through unique content and thought leadership.
Act as subject matter expert on sponsorship activation to advise and guide internal partners on program development
Initiate, cement, and grow relationships with partner brands and organizations.
Evaluate new partnership opportunities that have the potential to advance marketing objectives; aligned to budget and business objectives. Structure, negotiate, and execute agreements
Lead valuation, procurement, budgeting, contract renewals and negotiation
Manage contractual joint marketing funds and activation program budgets
The skills you’ll bring include:
8-10+ years of experience preferably within a global organization; B2B and B2C experience a plus
Extensive experience in sponsorship marketing, partnership activation and experiential marketing at a top tier agency, brand or global sports and entertainment property with proven track record of driving results
Must have prior experience with an experiential or sponsorship agency
Customer hospitality event design and execution at major global sporting events such as Hockey, Football, Soccer, etc
Budget development, management and reconciliation
Ability to negotiate valuation and agreements process
Existing network of partnerships across brands and organizations
Capable of synthesizing complex data, setting objectives and benchmarking KPIs in support of long-term goals.
Strong forecasting and planning capabilities
Ability to drive the execution of multi-media campaigns across external and internal stakeholders, agencies, and vendors.
