Enterprise Account Executive

We are looking for a customer-focused and target-driven Account Executive to join our Benelux sales team, driving new customer acquisition across the Netherlands. In this role, you’ll leverage your solution-selling expertise to build strong relationships and contribute to the continued growth of our region.

About the Team


Our EMEA Sales team partners closely with customers to help them achieve a secure digital future. You’ll be part of a collaborative group of Account Executives, supported by Business Development, Channel, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success colleagues to deliver impactful cybersecurity solutions.

About the Role


As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to drive net-new business opportunities and revenue growth in the Netherlands.

Specifically, your focus will be to:

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities to consistently exceed quota

  • Source and engage prospects, positioning Rapid7’s portfolio to meet their needs

  • Maintain awareness of competitor offerings and market trends

  • Translate client feedback into strategies that shape business outcomes

  • Partner cross-functionally with Channel, Sales Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure seamless delivery and account growth

The skills and qualities you’ll bring include:

  • 4+ years of full-cycle sales experience within cybersecurity, SaaS platforms, and ideally managed services

  • Proven success in prospecting, closing new business, and growing existing accounts

  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure

  • Adaptability to evolving business needs and market conditions

  • Collaborative approach as part of a high-performing team

  • Resilience, tenacity, and a competitive drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership over your business

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings

  • Fluency in Dutch and English

  • Based in the Netherlands (applications from outside the region cannot be considered)
