Partner Enablement Lead

Rapid7's Global Growth Enablement team is looking for an experienced Partner Enablement Lead to join our team. This is an opportunity to drive partner empowerment and autonomy from pre-sales through post-sales and renewals to help Rapid7 scale efficiently.  

About the Team

Our Growth Enablement team is responsible for the development and ongoing management of domain-relevant enablement focused on Rapid7 strategies, industry knowledge, and key competencies from the new hire experience to ongoing efforts to ensure our go-to customer teams and partners are set up for long-term success across the full customer lifecycle. 

The Role:

The Partner Enablement Lead will report to the Vice President of Strategy and Effectiveness and bring the right blend of partner and enablement knowledge to create, implement, and deliver a comprehensive, global partner enablement experience that ensures our partners are well-equipped to effectively position, demonstrate, implement, and support the entire Rapid7 portfolio. In this role you will:

  • Scope the full set of content required to address the needs of the different types of partner organizations and key personas in these organizations to ensure a deep understanding of Rapid7’s products, services, and value proposition.

  • Work closely with subject matter experts across the business, ensuring that required program training is current, relevant, and aligned with company priorities with a ‘partner first’ mentality.

  • Deliver training to partners via digital and live settings, aligned with the optimal delivery vehicle, and conduct train-the-trainer sessions for CAMs, CSEs and Partners.

  • Collaborate with pLOB and cross-functional teams to create relevant, partner-specific content focused on “what’s in it for the partner?”

  • Create training materials, presentations, and documentation to support effective learning outcomes

  • Ensure enablement efforts are aligned with digital tools used to empower partners and improve collaboration efficiency

  • Establish relationships with partners to enhance their knowledge, skills, and overall effectiveness in promoting Rapid7’s products and services to increase partner contribution in pipeline and revenue

  • Collaborate with Channel Operations to monitor and analyze the performance of partners, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing and functional Growth Advisors to advise CAMs on approaches to drive partner participation in enablement programs

  • Recommend approaches to leverage technology to enhance partner enablement experience and consistently find ways to ensure enablement is consumable, efficient and effective.

The skills you’ll bring include:

  • 5+ years experience in partner enablement, sales enablement, or a related field including proven experience delivering digital and live training

  • Strong understanding of the sales process, channel management, and partner ecosystems

  • Ability to distinguish between customer and partner value propositions and create content focused on what’s in it for the partner

  • Excel at visual storytelling using delivery tools such as Google Slide Presentations.  

  • Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate a plus

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure the effectiveness of enablement programs

  • Ability to manage multiple projects within tight timeframes

  • Ability to work effectively on global and virtual teams and accommodate time differences

  • Strong project management skills, must be able to self-manage content development process and collaborate with SMEs to produce high quality and impactful content

  • Experience working in cybersecurity is preferred but not required

  • Work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision that demands high quality, creativity, and consistency
