People Development Intern - 12 month

About the Role
We are seeking a curious, driven, people-minded student to join our People Strategy team! As a People Strategy Intern, you will primarily be focused in two growing areas of our team: People Development & Talent Acquisition. With this opportunity, you will also be exposed to other areas of the team including People Strategy, Total Rewards and Workplace Experience.
With the PD team you will:
Partner with the People Development team as an administrator for our Learning Management System and eLearning platforms, including content, roster and license management, as well as system changes.
Coordinate logistics for live, remote and/or blended training including material preparation, scheduling, and Gmail and Slack communications.
Support the New hire onboarding experience, including live sessions, associated communications and scheduling to encourage new hire engagement and integration.
Support data and analytics work and associated communications to encourage learner accountability and program changes/iterations.
Support the implementation of new technologies to facilitate the shift to and design of hybrid learning experiences.
Partner with the People Development team to continually engage our employees and ensure accountability and investment across all employee populations.
Support the team to scale our programs for impact as we continue to grow as a company.
Support the team to drive visible business impact to propel our team’s shared mission and shift learner behaviors.
With the TA team you will:
Assist with branding efforts for on campus recruitment, including swag, LinkedIn adverts, blogs, and other marketing collateral
Come up with new and innovative ideas for branding & engaging with students on and off campus
Support on campus recruiting efforts operationally by identifying & registering for events, helping to staff events, and equip staff with appropriate materials for event
Help run our large recruitment events hosted in the office, which would include managing eventbrite, internal staffing, operations of event, and creating a welcoming & engaging environment for prospective candidates
Analyze data on event
Assist with interview process of placement students & apprentices, including job postings, interview scheduling & staffing, and overall candidate experience
Take part in intern conversion process: evaluations, manager discussions and ultimately putting together offer packages
Support preparation for onboarding next cohort of placement students
The skills you’ll bring include:
Interest in org development, program management and people programs
Strong attention to detail
Excellent oral & written communication skills
A growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
Proficiency with G-Suite, specifically Google Sheets
Naturally curious and able to bring new ideas to the table
