Quality Assurance Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring the highest quality of enterprise applications, specifically Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workato. This role requires close collaboration with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) and Developers to understand functional requirements, design comprehensive test plans, and execute tests in an agile environment using tools such as Jira. The QA Engineer will ensure that software solutions meet the business needs and function effectively and efficiently in real-world scenarios.

About the Team

The Quality Assurance team plays a critical role in enabling reliable business processes across Rapid7. We work cross functionally with internal stakeholders to build solutions that streamline operations, improve user workflows and support strategic growth. This is a high impact opportunity to deepen your testing expertise, influence enterprise-grade projects and work with a global team in a fast paced, agile environment. We are a combination of enthusiastic and self motivated functional and automation engineers testing a variety of applications across CRM and ERP platforms.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer on our Business Applications team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of flawless features and end-to-end user experiences across Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ) and NetSuite (ERP). Specifically, your focus will be to:

  • Participate in project kick-off meetings, understand project scope, and contribute to design discussions and best practices

  • Prepare functional documentation based on conditions of satisfaction provided by business stakeholders

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans with optimal coverage, while documenting test results and proofs for future reference

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Product to align on requirements and customer needs

  • Provide QA walkthroughs to UAT teams and other stakeholders to ensure smooth handoffs

  • Mentor other QA engineers on tested features and continue to build deep product knowledge to support internal users

The skills and qualities you’ll bring include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on testing experience preferred Salesforce application knowledge on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and CPQ 

  • Excited by technology, curious and eager to learn with the ability to mentor junior members of the team. 

  • The attitude and ability to thrive in a high-growth, evolving environment.

  • Collaborative team player who has the ability to partner with others and drive towards solutions. 

  • Strong understanding of testing procedures of Regression, Smoke and Sanity. 

  • Solid communicator with the ability to clearly convey objectives and rationale whilst fostering commitment from others both within the team and cross functionally.

  • Brings a customer - first mindset to engineering and integrates customer impact in to everyday decision making.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
