Senior Demand Generation Specialist

Rapid7’s North America Growth Marketing team acts as an engine to fuel demand for Rapid7 solutions through marketing programs that nurture the buyer from prospect to customer. 

About the Team

As a member of the demand gen team, you’re a curious person who has experience building marketing programs that generate pipeline for sales organizations. You’re inherently customer centric, placing the experience of the buyer above all. As a metrics-obsessed marketer who knows B2B marketing funnel dynamics, you pride yourself on being an engaged problem solver with a demonstrated ability to think strategically, partner cross-functionally, and drive complex programs to conclusion. 

About the Role

This role will be a key participant in delivering campaigns to market that resonate with our target audience, and ultimately inspire action. You're able to think strategically and are also comfortable executing the tactics needed to deliver outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Align with sales leadership, the global campaigns team and product marketing to build a plan that aligns with regional goals and priorities for Rapid7’s Commercial segment

  • Plan and execute the marketing strategy to include lead acquisition strategies, lead nurture programs as well as expand programs for cross-sell and upsell opportunities

  • Work with our pre and post sales teams to educate and deploy marketing programs - this includes our BDR team, account executives, and our customer success organization

  • Manage your segments promotional calendar ensuring engagement with your marketing programs while also being mindful of fatigue

  • Relentlessly track the performance of your programs to include KPIs like MQLs, conversion rate by channel, pipeline contribution while keeping program costs within tolerable ranges (ie cost per lead, cost to acquire) 

  • Collaborate with supporting marketing functions to include content, social, PR and customer marketing

  • Manage 3rd party vendor relationships including but not limited to program set up, lead management and reporting

The skills you’ll bring include:

  • ~5 years of experience in a demand generation role, preferably in B2B - SaaS knowledge a plus

  • Proficient in marketing automation tools and a desire to learn new technologies including ABM platforms, direct mail automation, 3rd party intent and sales engagement platforms 

  • High level of comfort presenting programs and performance 

  • Exceptional project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally, partnering with multiple stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills 

  • Ability to measure and report on campaign performance to support overall marketing goals 

  • Creative thinker, passionate about demand generation and marketing automation

  • Security industry experience and knowledge of the SaaS technology landscape preferred

  • Passionate about working with a fast-paced sales team
