Senior Marketing Operations Analyst (Marketo)


Rapid7 is looking for an experienced and passionate individual, within Marketing Automation to join our Marketing Operations team. Your role will be focusing on MarTech strategy, campaign automation, platform optimization, integrations and technical infrastructure. This is an ideal position for a technically skilled (Marketo certified), data-driven Marketing Operations evangelist with a passion for innovation—including delving into how AI can reduce friction in our marketing workflows.

About the Role

As a Senior Marketing Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in optimizing the effectiveness, scalability, and intelligence of our marketing initiatives. You will own and manage the automation systems that drive our lead lifecycle, nurture programs, attribution models, and personalization strategies. This role demands a strategic thinker and skilled collaborator who can work seamlessly across teams. You’ll bring both hands-on technical expertise and a strong grasp of how business decisions translate into technical outcomes.

Specifically, your focus will be: 

  • Marketing Automation & Campaign Management

  • MarTech Strategy & Technical Infrastructure

  • AI & Agentic Automation

  • Operational Infrastructure

  • Campaign management

The skills and qualities you’ll bring include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, business, analytics, or a related field;

  • 8+ years of experience in GTM strategy, planning, forecasting, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a Marketing Automation role.

  • Adobe Certified Expert (formerly Marketo Certified Expert)

  • Proven track record developing and executing GTM plans.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Strong technical skills: HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, API integrations, Workato and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Python or low-code/no-code automation platforms (Zapier, Workato, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success operations and ability to cross functionally collaborate across these departments successfully 

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in SaaS Marketing Measurement.

  • Experience implementing (or testing) Agentic AI tools in a marketing context 

  • Proficiency in Marketing, CRM and RevOps tools (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce, GA, 6Sense etc.).

  • Familiarity with advanced analytics and predictive modeling techniques.
