At Rapid7, we believe that Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) capabilities need to be accessible for every security team to stay ahead of the ever changing threat landscape. We are looking for a customer-focused, detail-oriented, data-driven senior product manager to join our team and help drive this mission forward across our portfolio of products and platform.
In this role, you will be working with a high-performing, innovative team of designers, engineers, product managers, and customer-facing leaders. You will focus on the intersection between automation and overall security event management by defining and enabling how security teams collaborate across their business using Rapid7 products and services.
On a day-to-day basis you will be working closely with our customers and across product teams to understand, design, and deliver new product capabilities that solve real world user automation problems.
Partner with cross-functional leadership teams to own the automation platform vision across the Rapid7 product portfolio; including communication with internal and external teams of varying business levels
Partner with customer research, UX, product and engineering teams to ensure we create the best automation integrations and experiences that maximize customer and business impact
Manage multiple initiatives and product life cycles that map to Rapid7’s business objectives and product strategy
Define, design, and lead execution of user requirements into product and customer deliverables, partnering with multiple teams through the Rapid7 product SDLC processes
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and understanding of initiatives, customer outcomes, and urgency to mitigate risks in dependencies for deliverables
Create and report upon KPIs and metrics to monitor customer adoption and prioritization
Lead, coach, and mentor colleagues through influence; positively contributing to our product culture in a highly complex and fast-changing environment
4+ years of experience as a product manager, developing SaaS B2B software products
Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity automation concepts, techniques, and practices and an eagerness to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and competitors
Ability to articulate and understand unique complexities of orchestration and automation initiatives; including third-party partnership limitations and configurations
Fluency in driving the complete product lifecycle, having operated in the unique space of SOAR with an excellent understanding of how to map use-cases to solutions and concepts
Ideally, experience in cybersecurity or security operations centers, but not mandatory
A fast learner with an open-mind to accept, seek and consider opinions from a wide range of stakeholders
Superb communication abilities that adjust based on the levels of seniority in the business
A track record of successfully positioning products and their features within a highly competitive landscape
