Senior Product Marketing Manager, Assessment & Response

As a Senior Product Manager for Assessment & Response, in this role you’ll focus on helping us deliver new messaging, positioning, and offers. You will help deliver these key initiatives, champion internal awareness and excitement to drive successful launches and collaboration, and stay up to date on competitive intelligence.

Establishing and maintaining market leadership and continued momentum requires a multi-pronged go-to-market approach, coupled with significant cross-functional collaboration and teaming.   

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized self-starter to help us keep this forward progression going and ensure stakeholders are aligned and on-target along the way. As a member of the Assessment & Response Product Marketing team, you’ll be a part of a flagship team driving our messaging & positioning, go-to-market, and go-to-customer efforts, and you’ll be critical in ensuring cross-functional visibility across stakeholder teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Craft the message - develop solution-oriented positioning and messaging that differentiates Rapid7 from the market 

  • Lead and help with planning and launch of new offerings and solutions - and participate in the cross-functional implementation of those plans 

  • Establish rapport and working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across the business to partner on projects and chase down deliverables for our team

  • Deep dive into the competitive landscape and translate information into insights for key stakeholders 

  • Build a solid understanding of our product, capabilities, and commercial motion to help field internal questions as a representative of our team, and navigate key projects

  • Research, propose, and implement GTM plans in collaboration with marketing, sales, and product with a focus on driving customer adoption and success

  • Create artifacts and resources that support our key projects and objectives, including collateral, blogs, enablement resources, etc.

  • Help internally evangelize for our business and capabilities by finding creative ways to leverage our internal communications levers to highlight what’s new and coming soon

The skills you’ll bring include:

  • 3+ years of work experience in Product Marketing, content marketing in a high-paced B2B environment

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to lead content creation efforts 

  • Resourceful, curious, and able to take direction and run with it
    Eager to jump in and get things done in an ever-evolving environment 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience
