Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and modernization of our Microsoft- and Apple-centric infrastructure. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic leadership across identity, endpoint, and cloud services, while also serving as the final escalation point for major incidents and system issues.

About the Team
Our Systems Engineering team ensures the security, scalability, and reliability of the IT infrastructure that powers our business. We work closely with Networking, Information Security, and Project Management teams to deliver secure, resilient, and seamless technology experiences.

About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to lead and evolve enterprise identity, cloud, and endpoint solutions. Specifically, your focus will be to:

  • Manage and modernize Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity governance and access control

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure workloads for scalability, security, and cost optimization

  • Administer and optimize Windows and macOS endpoints using Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro

  • Lead patch and vulnerability management across Windows and macOS environments

  • Act as Level 3 escalation support and drive root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues

  • Execute the IT roadmap and lead proof-of-concept deployments for new Microsoft and Apple enterprise capabilities

  • Mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert in identity, endpoint, and cloud technologies

The skills and qualities you’ll bring include:

  • Expertise in Intune, Jamf Pro, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure

  • Strong background in Windows Server, macOS, and enterprise endpoint management

  • Experience with hybrid identity, SSO, MFA, and conditional access

  • Proficiency in PowerShell and automation/scripting

  • Strong incident resolution and root cause analysis skills

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities

  • Strategic thinking and ability to execute technology roadmaps

  • Experience with patch/vulnerability management and compliance frameworks

  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor peers

  • Commitment to business continuity and system availability

We evaluate compensation decisions on a case-by-case basis, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the very top of the salary range.

The salary range for this role in the US is:

$117,700.00 - 159,300.00 USD Annual

Salary ranges may vary based on geographical location. This range does not include variable/incentive compensation, equity and benefits (where applicable/eligible).
