About the Role

This is a newly created position within our global tax team based in our Boston office  and will report directly to our Global Tax Director.

In this role, you will:

• Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide proactive insights related to indirect taxes in the context of a global SaaS-oriented cybersecurity company

• Act as the subject matter expert for Indirect taxes, including tax compliance, reporting, audit support and technology tools 

• Manage our outsource providers to evaluate, implement and optimize our Company’s approach to indirect tax reporting, including, but not limited to:  

  • US Sales and Use Tax Returns

  • VAT Tax Returns

  • GST Tax Returns

  • Consumption Tax Returns

• Drive process efficiencies and automation initiatives

The skills you’ll bring include:

• BA/BS in Accounting 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with a working knowledge of indirect taxes in public accounting and/or a corporate tax department 

• Technical expert in U.S sales and use tax with a technology industry focus

• Working knowledge of international indirect tax in the UK, EU and Canada

• Ability to analyze data and review large data sets 

• Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to set priorities and work independently on multiple projects

• Experience with NetSuite or Avalara, as well as an interest in expanding tax knowledge are both a plus
