About the Role

This is a newly created position within our global tax team based in our Boston office  and will report directly to our Global Tax Director.

In this role, you will:

• Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide proactive insights related to indirect taxes in the context of a global SaaS-oriented cybersecurity company

• Exposure to all aspects of the tax function including domestic and international matters and have the opportunity to develop skills in the areas of income tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, tax strategy, and tax audit

• In addition, act as the subject matter expert for Indirect taxes, including tax compliance, reporting, audit support and technology tools 

• Manage our outsource providers to evaluate, implement and optimize our Company’s approach to indirect tax reporting, including, but not limited to:  

  • US Sales and Use Tax Returns

  • VAT Tax Returns

  • GST Tax Returns

  • Consumption Tax Returns

• Drive process efficiencies and automation initiatives

The skills you’ll bring include:

• BA/BS in Accounting 

• Minimum of 2 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting and/or an industry tax department 

• Ability to analyze data and review large data sets 

• Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Naturally curious and open to taking on new challenges and opportunities

• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to set priorities and work independently on multiple projects

As an added bonus:

• Experience with NetSuite or Avalara, as well as an interest in expanding tax knowledge

• Technical expert in U.S sales and use tax with a technology industry focus

• Working knowledge of international indirect tax in the UK, EU and Canada
