Our Emerging Talent programs are designed to support both experienced professionals and recent graduates as they begin a career path in technology. Cybersecurity is constantly evolving, and we work diligently to stay ahead of attackers and create a more secure digital future for all. Emerging talent professionals provide valuable and fresh perspectives into our business, and are equipped with the resources and opportunities to help them create the career experience of a lifetime while gaining valuable industry knowledge and experience.
At the heart of our international talent strategy is our Placement Program in Belfast, an internship program we created when we opened our doors in 2014. Our placement students spend a full year working as a member of one of our teams, gaining valuable experience working on real projects. The majority of our placement opportunities are within our Engineering teams, but we also offer roles within UX, Service Desk, and IT. Aside from the hands-on learning placements gain from their managers, mentors, and teammates, the program allows the opportunity to network with peers & leaders, get direct manager feedback, and ultimately the possibility of full time employment upon graduation.
The SDR program at Rapid7 aims to provide people early in their careers - or changing career paths - the opportunity to learn from the best and grow their selling skills. As a valued member of our sales team, you’ll develop the skills to uncover opportunities with prospects and customers and maximize opportunity from inbound marketing leads and outbound efforts. Many of our past SDRs have progressed into roles as Account Executives as they continue to build their career at Rapid7. If you’re a self-starter, team player, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, Rapid7’s SDR Program is the place for you.
The Apprentice Program is a way for Rapid7 to diversify its technical pipeline with candidates who have pursued a different career path and are looking to move into the cybersecurity field. Participants have the opportunity to train and get hands-on experience while going to school 1 day a week at a local university. The majority of the roles in the Apprentice Program fall within our Customer Support organization.
Rapid7’s Internship Program provides an entry point for students to apply what they are learning in school and contribute to real world projects. Our interns work hands-on with team members and are encouraged to bring their ideas to the table everyday. The goal of the internship program is to encourage new ideas and perspectives from young professionals while helping them gain valuable skills along the way. The internship program provides students with a pathway to a successful career in their chosen field, with opportunities for development, learning, and collaboration.
As a major player in the tech space in Boston, Rapid7 takes pride in providing equity within the tech career ecosystem. Since its inception in 2017, Rapid7 has been partnering with Hack.Diversity, an organization on a mission to provide opportunities for Black and LatinX professionals in the tech industry. Through their corporate fellowship program, Rapid7 hires underrepresented minorities into the organization to grow representation in the technology space. Upon completion of their internship, participants are considered for full time opportunities.
