Director, Growth Marketing Americas

As our Director, Americas Growth Marketing, you will be the strategic owner of our Americas marketing plan, responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive demand, awareness, and generating significant pipeline growth. You’ll lead a dynamic, high-performing team responsible for field marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), virtual events and webcasts, and specific regional marketing efforts in Public Sector and LATAM.This is a leadership position where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, align marketing initiatives with broader business goals, and ensure we continue to scale our presence in the cybersecurity space

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and drive a robust Americas marketing plan that aligns with the broader business objectives and growth targets, supporting all Americas segments across Enterprise, Strategic and Commercial, Public Sector, and LATAM.   Be a champion, and the voice for the Americas into and across all-marketing functions, including interlocking with Global Demand, Digital, Channel, and leadership peers in international markets

  • Build strong cross-functional alignment with sales, product, channel, and other marketing functional leaders to deliver against significant growth goals

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team covering field marketing, ABM,  virtual events/webcasts, and regional initiatives;  Foster a collaborative environment across marketing that empowers the team to deliver innovative, impactful marketing campaigns that drive pipeline

  • Oversee and optimize field marketing efforts to drive demand generation, account engagement, and lead nurturing in key North American markets. Work closely with sales teams to execute localized campaigns and events, including trade shows, conferences, and Rapid7 events.

  • Lead the NA ABM strategy to drive targeted outreach, engagement, and conversion for high-value accounts across North America. Work with the sales team to develop personalized marketing initiatives and drive pipeline growth.

  • Own the strategy and execution of Rapid7’s virtual events and webcasts, ensuring they drive engagement, education, and lead generation. Optimize the digital experience to create meaningful interactions with prospects and customers.

  • Develop tailored marketing strategies for the Public Sector and LATAM regions to address specific market needs and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with regional sales teams to drive growth and awareness in these key verticals. 

  • Set clear KPIs and track performance of all marketing initiatives. Analyze results and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI. Regularly report on key metrics and share insights with senior leadership.

  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all North American marketing channels. Maintain a deep understanding of Rapid7’s products, value propositions, and customer pain points to create compelling marketing materials.

  • Manage the marketing budget for North America and ensure efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives. Balance short-term needs with long-term growth goals.


 

The skills you’ll bring include:

  • 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or field marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong background in cybersecurity, SaaS, or B2B tech marketing is highly preferred.

  • Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies across a variety of functions (field, ABM, digital, etc.).

  • Experience in Public Sector marketing and working with LATAM regions is a plus.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best performance.

  • Exceptional collaboration skills to work with sales, product, and senior leadership teams.

  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining a focus on execution and measurable results.

  • Data-driven approach to decision-making and campaign optimization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to present ideas, strategies, and results to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, etc.), CRM tools (Salesforce), and web analytics platforms.

  • Deep understanding of demand generation, lead nurturing, and pipeline management.
