Our team looks after all aspects of Rapid7's products, focusing on building Reporting and Dashboards. We’re building cutting-edge security products using the latest technologies. We are passionate about beautifully designed, clean, and maintainable code and are looking for someone who shares that passion. 

About the Role

This person will challenge convention and open up new possibilities with foresight, consideration, and positivity. You will work closely with customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to obtain market insights directly or through customer-facing teams and you will own the product life-cycle end to end. 

In this role, you will:

Lead cross-team collaboration for product planning, prioritization, development, launch and ongoing enhancements that balance responsiveness to customer needs with strategic market impact.

Encourage data-driven product decisions leveraging utilization metrics, user feedback, and customer partnership.

Demonstrated knowledge of Cyber Security concepts, markets, and practices and an eagerness to stay up-to-date on emerging policies, trends, and competitors

Define, design, and lead execution of user requirements into product deliverables, partnering with multiple teams through the Rapid7 product SDLC processes

Work with product and marketing leadership to develop content, messaging, and competitive positioning based on solid value propositions and real-world use cases driving sales enablement and existing customer growth.

Be an advocate for upcoming features, across the organization, and with customers, we expect our PMs to be first-class stakeholders in all parts of the planning and execution process.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

4+ years of experience in product management roles

Experience in cybersecurity or security operations centers,

Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.

Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.

Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.

Deep empathy for customers and users.
