At Rapid7, we’re driven by our mission to help organizations anticipate risk and take action in a rapidly evolving threat landscape. Recently, we announced two major milestones that will fundamentally shape the future of our industry: the acquisition of Kenzo Security, an agentic AI security platform, and our exclusive access to Anthropic's Project Glasswing to explore frontier AI via Claude Mythos Preview.
These developments are a testament to our commitment to doing meaningful, critical work that supports more than 11,500 customers around the world. For current and prospective team members at Rapid7, these strategic initiatives will also directly support employees by giving them access to cutting edge technology and resources.
How will these developments transform Rapid7’s customer impact?
Historically, security operations have been trapped in a reactive model, with organizations manually investigating fragmented signals while nearly half of all alerts go completely unexamined due to scale limitations.
With the integration of Kenzo Security’s proprietary data mesh and AI models into the Rapid7 Command Platform, we are accelerating our services from AI-assisted workflows to true AI-driven, machine-speed security operations. Kenzo uses specialized AI agents that work together to autonomously investigate alerts. In customer deployments, this technology has proven revolutionary, shrinking investigation times from hours to minutes—a 94% reduction. In some instances, the tool has been found to increase alert coverage from just 12% to 100%.
Furthermore, our access to Anthropic’s frontier AI models allows us to push the boundaries of preemptive security, ensuring our customers have the defenses needed to disrupt attackers early, prioritize exposures, and manage risk beyond simple patching.
What does this mean for our employees?
At Rapid7, we are empowering our people to do their best work. Across the cybersecurity industry, alert fatigue and manual strain puts a heavy burden on security teams.
Our AI strategy is designed to alleviate this burden. By integrating agentic AI, we are championing a philosophy where "Analysts decide, AI agents do". This means our analysts and engineers can configure the platforms to handle the heavy lifting of data correlation and triage, freeing them up to focus on high-level decision-making and strategy. Organizations, including our own teams, will experience significantly lower manual strain and more precise investigations.
Meanwhile, access to Claude Mythos Preview gives our researchers, security engineers, and analysts the unique opportunity to get hands-on with cutting-edge frontier AI. Our teams are actively exploring how these advanced models can strengthen our product security, assist in zero-day research, validate vulnerabilities, and support complex red-teaming. We are giving our employees the best tools in the world to explore attack paths, reduce noise, and enrich their investigations. This hands-on access not only empowers our teams to tackle complex security challenges today, but also provides a unique environment for continuous professional growth, enabling our employees to sharpen their skills and stay at the forefront of AI-driven cybersecurity innovation.
Doing meaningful, critical work that makes a global impact
At its core, advanced technology delivers the most value when it is grounded in human security expertise and operational context. We are actively combining machine-speed automation with the unparalleled human expertise of our team to drive the best possible security outcomes for over 11,500 customers worldwide.
The next phase of cybersecurity requires us to move beyond just finding vulnerabilities; we must verify, disclose, fix, and deploy remediations at scale. At Rapid7, employees are stepping into a role where your expertise is amplified by the world's most advanced AI. Our teams are at the forefront of the shift toward preemptive security, directly disrupting attackers and building more resilient security programs on a global scale.
