This critical, quota-carrying role focuses on driving cross-functional collaboration internally and externally to ensure large enterprise clients realize maximum return on investment and long-term expansion.
About the Team
The Enterprise Sales team focuses on securing and expanding Rapid7's footprint within our most impactful customer accounts. By partnering closely with regional channel ecosystems and internal stakeholders, the team ensures the delivery of continuous value and robust cybersecurity solutions to complex organizations.
About the Role
Primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth and secure customer expansion within the large enterprise segment across North Carolina. Specifically, focus will be to:
Manage and nurture strategic relationships with key customers and their subsidiaries across the North Carolina region.
Build, develop, and maintain deep commercial relationships with key regional channel partners.
Maintain responsibility for capturing net new sales and managing the end-to-end renewal process within the large enterprise segment.
Collaborate closely with counterparts across Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, and executive leadership to ensure account health and retention.
Conduct in-person executive business reviews with strategic accounts to assess satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
Initiate proactive renewal conversations 4-6 months in advance of expirations to guarantee business continuity.
Project customer needs back to the business and assemble the internal resources required to address them.
Establish formal account success plans and accurately maintain activity, forecasting, and opportunity data within Salesforce.
The skills and qualities you’ll bring include:
Bring five or more years of dedicated experience within the cybersecurity industry.
Show proven ability to navigate and close business within complex enterprise organizations of 1,500 employees and above.
Demonstrate success in consistently achieving sales targets and driving regional revenue growth.
Bring three or more years of experience successfully selling through a regional channel ecosystem.
Leverage strong communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate business value to executive stakeholders.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of both net new sales and customer renewal frameworks.
Apply exceptional organization and project management capabilities to multi-task across 60-75 parent accounts effectively.
