Partner Marketing Manager

Partnerships are at the core of Rapid7’s go-to-market strategy - as we work with

channel partners, hyperscalers, and managed service providers - to drive customer outcomes and scalable growth. 


In this role, you will be the regional marketing lead for North America, leading all activities with various partner types. This Partner Marketing Manager will work directly with contacts at our partner organizations, as well as with Rapid7 channel and partner teams internally to drive impactful partner marketing programs. You will also partner with various marketing teams, including regional marketing, global demand, and product marketing to create and execute demand generation campaigns with our partners, as well as drive field engagement and events. 

The ideal candidate will understand partner & channel landscape, as well as be able to make data-driven decisions, be adaptable, and have a proven track record of success.

The Office

Rapid7 is a hybrid work environment, and this role is based in Boston, MA. The expectation is three (3) days in office/ two (2) days remote.
 

About the Team


The Global Partner Marketing team at Rapid7 is a newly formed Center of Excellence. As part of our expanding global partner marketing team, the North America Partner Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in driving the success of our partner ecosystem. This dedicated team collaborates closely with regional marketing managers, marketing leadership and cross-functional sales & technical leaders to create impactful marketing strategies & programs that align with Rapid7’s growth objectives. Together, we are committed to enhancing partner engagement, driving new business through our partner community, and fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration.

About the Role


Reporting to the Global Director of Partner Marketing, the North America Partner Marketing Manager will spearhead all partner marketing initiatives across various partner types, including channel partners (distribution and reseller), hyperscalers, and managed service providers.

As a Partner Marketing Manager your primary responsibility will be to drive programs with cloud marketplaces, engage partners in the public sector, and collaborate with technology alliance partners. Specifically your focus will be to:

  • Drive Marketing Campaigns: Create and implement impactful marketing campaigns and programs for our North America partner community, collaborating with key marketing contacts to ensure high-quality execution and measurable ROI for both Rapid7 and our partners.

  • Internal Alignment: Work cross-functionally with Rapid7 channel leaders and various marketing departments to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution of partner initiatives.

  • Budget Management: Oversee regional market development funds (MDF) and programmatic budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation to maximize ROI across partners, initiatives, and campaigns.

  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize strategies and report on ROI to stakeholders.

  • Secure partners commitments (including funding, content, joint events, etc.) to support Rapid7’s strategic initiatives.

  • Partner Enablement: Work with our internal enablement team, as well as Channel Account Managers to empower partners with the tools and knowledge they need to effectively promote Rapid7 solutions, ensuring they are equipped to drive sales.

  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute partner-focused events, webinars, and workshops to foster engagement, showcase Rapid7 offerings, and strengthen relationships within the partner community.

The skills you’ll bring include:

  • Partner Marketing Knowledge and Experience: 5+ experience working with cybersecurity partners in the North America region, with knowledge of building and executing partner marketing programs

  • Collaboration & Alignment: Adept at working with sales teams and regional marketing leaders to ensure marketing initiatives are well integrated and that they support overall business objectives.

  • Project Management: Capable of managing complex campaigns & initiatives with attention to detail and deadlines.

  • Data-Driven Approach: Establish reporting KPIs to track partner marketing performance metrics. Assess campaign performance, marketing impact on deal registrations and overall contribution to-channel pipeline. 

  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with industry trends, challenges, and buyer behaviors in the cybersecurity space is desirable.

  • Ability to understand and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to maintain an optimistic, approachable, and self-starter attitude.

We evaluate compensation decisions on a case-by-case basis, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the very top of the salary range.

The salary range for this role in the US is:

$108,800.00 - 147,200.00 USD Annual

Salary ranges may vary based on geographical location. This range does not include variable/incentive compensation, equity and benefits (where applicable/eligible).
