About the Team

The Treasury team is a highly strategic, global function at Rapid7 responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s financial resources, including global liquidity and cash management, investment strategy, foreign exchange, capital structure and debt, insurance, and key banking partnerships. The team also drives Treasury transformation and serves as a critical partner across Accounting, Finance, IT, Legal, and other functions to manage financial risk, strengthen financial infrastructure, and support Rapid7’s broader financial and strategic objectives.

About the Role

As a Treasury Manager, your primary responsibility will be to partner closely with the Treasurer to support Rapid7’s global Treasury strategy and key initiatives across liquidity, financial risk, capital structure, insurance, and Treasury transformation. Specifically, your focus will be to:

  • Partner with the Treasurer on global liquidity management, cash forecasting, investment activities, liquidity optimization, and longer-term funding requirements.

  • Support the development and execution of Rapid7’s foreign exchange strategy, including identifying and measuring exposures, evaluating hedging strategies, supporting transaction execution, and developing related reporting and analytics.

  • Support debt and capital structure activities, including debt administration and compliance, refinancing and financing analysis, scenario modeling, and capital markets activities.

  • Support key aspects of Rapid7’s global insurance program, including annual renewals, exposure analysis, coverage evaluation, benchmarking, and coordination with brokers and insurance partners.

  • Play an active role in the implementation and ongoing optimization of Treasury technology, including the Treasury Management System, bank connectivity, process design, testing, reporting, controls, and user adoption.

  • Support Treasury transformation initiatives focused on automation, process simplification, data quality, scalability, controls, and enhanced visibility into global liquidity and financial risk.

  • Develop Treasury analytics, dashboards, and management reporting across cash and liquidity, investments, foreign exchange, debt, insurance, and other key financial risks to support decision-making.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, IT, and other teams to support Treasury initiatives and broader business objectives.

The skills and qualities you'll bring include

  • Bring 5+ years of progressive corporate Treasury or related Finance experience, with a strong foundation in global liquidity and cash management and exposure to broader areas of Treasury.

  • Demonstrate strong financial modeling, analytical, and scenario-planning skills to translate complex financial information into clear insights and recommendations.

  • Possess working knowledge of broader Treasury and financial risk management areas, such as foreign exchange, debt and capital markets, investments, and corporate insurance.

  • Apply experience with Treasury Management Systems, banking technology, process improvement, or other Treasury transformation initiatives.

  • Utilize strong project management skills to independently manage workstreams, prioritize competing demands, establish clear ownership, and drive initiatives from analysis through execution.

  • Communicate objectives and rationale clearly to present Treasury analysis, recommendations, risks, and business implications to senior stakeholders.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment and build strong partnerships across Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, IT, and external partners.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical judgment to navigate complex financial and operational issues, make efficient decisions, and develop practical solutions.

  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and actively drive process simplification, automation, and continuous improvement.

  • Possess CTP, CPA, or other relevant professional certification (preferred).

  • Embody our core values to foster a culture of excellence that drives meaningful impact and collective success.
