Head of Transformation

Rapid7 is seeking a hard-driving Head of Transformation to coordinate execution on the company’s highest priority strategic goals.  More broadly, the Head of Transformation will coordinate the setting of company-wide goals and strategic initiatives,  improving alignment across teams, and improving  organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will both solve immediate friction and re-engineer the foundational systems that allow inefficiencies to take root. As the Head of Transformation, your mission is to harmonize high-level corporate ambitions with surgical operational execution to turn strategic priorities to action-oriented business plans.

About the Role

The Head of Transformation will be responsible for owning and driving company-wide strategic initiatives as well as leading and aligning  planning and goal setting processes; aligning Executive Team Members to key strategic priorities, and partnering with teams to operationalize and execute on company-wide initiatives. Reporting to the CFO, you will function as mission-control for cross-functional projects; ensuring each team is doing their part to execute on major company objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Designing and implementing company-wide transformation programs to improve profitability and performance.

  • Establishing, tracking, and managing complex initiatives to ensure milestones and financial targets are met.

  • Bridging gaps between departments to align with strategic goals.

  • Design and implement a scalable Business Operating System to serve as the heartbeat of our operation. This includes defining the cadence and managing the agendas for QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), Executive Leadership Team meetings, OKR planning and tracking, and cross-functional communication loops.

  • Serve as the ultimate unifier between different business units. You will navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and project management teams to break down silos, resolve competing priorities, and mobilize the organization around a singular vision.

  • Move past traditional change management to build a culture of continuous evolution. You will ensure that enterprise-wide shifts in tools, behaviors, and mindsets aren't just "accepted" but are championed at every level.

  • Performance Metrics: Work with Data/BI teams to define the KPIs that matter most for a $1 billion company, moving beyond vanity metrics to unit economics and efficiency ratios.

The skills you’ll bring include:

  • Operational Excellence: 10+ years in Business Operations, Strategy, or Transformation, specifically within cybersecurity/technology companies that have gone through scale. Proven track record of implementing and managing corporate-wide operating cadences (e.g., OKRs, ELT meetings, QBRs, and Strategic Planning cycles).

  • Organizational Design with Cross-Functional Communication: Experience tying together cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and reduce organizational friction.

  • Executive Presence: Ability to challenge and influence C-Suite stakeholders through data-backed storytelling. Act as a unifying force between cross-functional teams with competing priorities.

  • Change Management: Expert in Agile methodologies to drive high-adoption rates for enterprise-wide process shifts.

  • Unit Economics Optimization: Proven ability to drive improvements in LTV, CAC, Gross Margin, and ARR.
